Dan, they show up about the size of the avatars, even when you click on them.

Here they are a little bigger.

Sweet looking car!

#943, The Hard Way, was entered last year.  A first-class roadster with some teething problems that should be ironed out by August. (See 2010 Program.)

Stan, that's a modified right?

I think we've settled on the Fuel-Gas class, based on Pete's appearance preferences. We'll just do what we can, and chase that 220 mph mark.

Hopefully we'll learn some stuff from the coupe this fall, and have a better idea of what we should be doing.

This winter, I'm going to rework the coupe into a dedicated comp coupe .While Pete and Ben are working on the Jimmy engine, Randy, I, and hopefully John will get after the roadster.

Yeah-- it's a Modified Roadster now.  It was a B/Gas (and as I, alone, call them Altered -- back from the 25% drag race days) Roadster.

It's easy to change a Gas/Fuel Roadster to a Gas/Fuel Modified Roadster, but you can't usually take advantage of the Modified Roadster class rules by, say, just adding a belly pan.

This is Don Ferguson's roadster, which has run an Ardun conversion both blown and unblown on fuel. As we all know they also have some straight 6 bullets that could get the job done. I have always thought that this is probably the best looking of all present day roadsters.

Rex, I think that car is pretty cool!

Pete really likes the Sadd Teague Bently roadster,so we'll go that direction with the build. I'm just along for the ride on this one.

Does anyone have any other pics of this roadster they could share?

Probably some text, I didn't check it all.

You might also substitue jalopyjournal.com for the hotrod.com in the search.

Thanks Mike!

I googled, but only came up with a couple of pics.

Maybe you  should hold a class, for us computer challenged types?

I could easily bum the pointed nose I used on my roadster to run in modified with Fontanas GMC back in 2004 and give it to Bill Goldman to use on his roadster. I don't think Bill would have any trouble running 230+ in modified class with the nose.

We quailfied over Fergies 209 record but could back it up because of water problems with the head. A lot of guys don't know how hard it is to set an "open" record.

A friend of mine has been running on one for years and won't even go into impounds unless he's over 250. He has some sense of responsibility for what records stand for and just not putting your name in a book.

Jimmy, good info!   Just FYI, since we settled on Fuel-Gas,we won't be running on an open record.

Yeah like I said before, sounds like you want to run roadster.   :-P

Sounds like you'd run roadster unless you do something to make it modified like run a belly pan or put a nose on it.
