There was a younf fella from Saskatchewan (in Canada) a number of years ago.... he was racing a motorcycle by himself.....he needed a hand and asked people (spectators) if they could help him..... the term he used was that they seemed to be "delighted" to help.... they were spectators and only there for a day or two... they stayed two extra days helping him... and he set two records with their help..... the experience was something for which he had told us the people had continued to thank him for some years after that....

Getting a few spectators to help will, in all likelihood, vastly enhance the spectators' speedweek experiences!

Hey Jon,  my biggest concern about staying in Wendover was to ensure we get to the party at the Bend Sunday!

Otherwise, I would be checking in with you to see if you could use another hand at BUB.

***  Just saw that you plan on being at Loring so look forward to seeing you there! ***

milt,

will not be at the bub this year.

hope to get to the talks at the bend myself and plan
to be at lta '11.

you were more help than you know.

Milt,  You are going to have to make a heck of a sales pitch to get old JT
out onto the salt with his 56 six banger. If you get it done, I want to be there.
It will be worth the price of admission.
