If I'm going to run XXO/BVGCC and XXO/BVGALT, I need to send two entries and $800, correct?

NO!

Send in your entry for the primary class you want to run. If you set the record then go to the regestration trailer and pony up ~$150?? (I Don't remember) for a "class change".

Thanks guys! :-D

I couldn't find the info on that one.

Nope, because you're only going to enter one car.  Once you're there and have made your runs in whatever class you choose first -- you go to registration and change class.  There's a fee - but it's a heck of a lot less than an entry, for sure.

And you can change class for no charge before you go thru inspection if you are unsure of which to run first (or don't qualify under the one you've pre-entered).  No sense entering in another if you may not still be running (I know, I know, don't think that way).

Well, about 2 weeks to go to take advantage of the Pre-Entry savings -- and all of about 100 entries have been received.

Maybe 2 courses will be enuf this year?

Price of gas?
H&N devices?
Lexan?
Rooms?

I mailed my two entries yesterday. They probably haven't made it to California yet.

Their, now we are at 102 entries.

Do I need to have a vehicle number to preregister for Speedweek?
I have not been able to get in touch with Chuck Kalbach to get a number [as instructed on the application].
Do I go ahead and send it in with out a number?

Thanks for any help, Don

Don,

If you need a number use 793 this event, it is ours and we are not going to Bonneville this Speedweek.

It's best to get your own number.  Then you won't have to change for another event.  And another's number is still assigned to its last user, so confusion reigns.  Send it in without a number and annotate that you're still trying to get one.  Phone the SCTA office when you do get it.

Woo hoo :-D, I talked to Chuck and got a number.
I have to wonder how much extra speed Noonan's number would have given me .

Thanks for the help, Don
