WHAT THE F%$K!!!!!!!!!!!! i call back and ask for manager.................same response and a second hang up. now it's MOTHER F%$KER. i tried reserving elsewhere but you know what i was told.............................NO ROOMS ANYWHERE. what to do?

Look up corp headquarters on internet and let them know whats going on and explain the shotage of rooms in
Bendover. They probably canceled your room to get a higher price now that all rooms are rented. Tell them your going to the chamber of commerce.
  Tell them...no better not :-D

Think I have an extra room.
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Great Idea, Don.  There are a few select and choice spots left, so get your reservations in NOW!  And don't worry about paying in advance -- we'll be sending Don's son, Gus, from camp to tent to RV to collect the rent.  I figure that he's the one to be the collections man -- he's a high school football and other sports guy - lotsa muscle to help "persuade" folks to ante up.  Also -- he's still somewhat of a kid, and who could turn down a request for money from an innocent kid?

(Gus, I mean no insult by calling you "innocent")

Just thought I would add in our solution for this year, since we got tired of setting money on fire in Bendover.......

We were able to rent two new and very nice RV Trailers with A/C units, kitchens, showers, toilets, a generator, and enough room to sleep six or seven people comfortably for SUBSTANTIALLY less than one hotel room with two queen beds.  They will even deliver them from SLC to Wendover for $145 delivery and $145 return.  We are picking one up in SLC and keeping it for seven days, they are delivering the second one and coming back to pick it up five days later... and the whole shebang cost us about $1775 including delivery, pickup, taxes, fees, and renting one generator.  Divided by six people per trailer that works out to about $25/night.

www.rentmotorhome.com  - we talked to Scott who was very helpful and set it all up for us.

Kix...you might want to bring some 5 gal waterjugs for refilling as you will probably run out of water especialy
if you have novice RV campers, also make sure generator will run two air conditioners and hooks up to two.
I also noticed that resturant-gas station up the road wanted 10$ for water.

                      Good luck JL222

The water from the Truck stop not only costs during Speed Week it is really warm and has a large amount of alkali in it.  The KOA gouges for dumping, and water, but the water is better, its the only place to dump, that I know of.  I have a 50 and a 35 gallon barrel to fetch water from town, and a transfer pump.
I put a five gallon bucket with a funnel and adjustable pipe inside a tent for the beer drinkers, It don't take long to fill up the black water tank when every body is enjoying themselves.  Make sure to use the green rooms courtesy of SCTA and managed by SSS.

Me have experience;  :-)

When I have brought my little tag trailer 22' I was able to fill it up at the KOA and also have been able to wash daily salt off at the Shell station from the hose..pretty sure it is a Shell station..just down on the right side across from Montego about 200' or so...
