Simpson sells Impact

  I just read on Drag Racing Online that Bill Simpson sold Impact Racing to Mastercraft Safety.
  The article says Bill will stay on as a advisor.  I assume they will retain the Impact name.

Wonder if the sale was related to the SFI situation. I remember he sold Simpson after the Dale Earnhardt alleged seat belt failure.
