Qualifiers are over.  The last 2 vehicles to run (more or less) are shown.

The parade from impound happened a few minutes ago and there are still a coupla cars coming from the big end.

Stand by for record returns.  Records will be announced later...I just tried to get a yay/nay on record setters, but was toild to wait.  I just got interrupted wit a phone call...on the Android tether cell...so I lost a few minutes.

More to come.

Last car has run.  Ferrari 7007, appears to have a record.  I'm going to impound for final shots.

Pat Womack broke the chain on his return run. Jason still has the record.

Congrats on the "Fastest Bike" of the meet!

Next is that A/BFR that ran a 297 yesterday.  Hoping to be the first roadster over 300 -- and this is the big reason we're out here at the 4 1/2 this morning.

297 at the quarter, 304.606 in the mile -- world's fastest hiboy roadster.  WOW o WOW!!

You shoulda heard the shouting and screaming in the timing tower (behind Glen's voice).

Unofficial record is 301.150.  Impound/Warner will certify it, but that's what it looks like from here.

297 in the quarter -- that puts him up near the top speed ever in the quarter, doesn't it?  Strong, stout, great to hear and see.

All I can say is WOW. Congratulations to Cummins-Beck-Davidson-Thornsberry, for an outstanding effort to set the record over 300 mph.

Can everyone imagine what a great situation we have with this site?

Just think of it, our friends in the UK, Australia and NZ learn of it at exactly the same time as do we.

It certainly bonds a lot of people with a common interest.

Thank to the reporters and fotogs.

I'll see part of you at the Bonneville NW Reunion (www.bonnevillenwreunion.com) February 19, 2011, but

everyone is invited.

There's a magnum of champagne for the Long Distance Traveler winner.

Well, The Salt Cat is back home, all in all a very good week. We were treated very well, and would like to thank everyone involved in the event. Special thanks to those hard working volunteers of the SCTA. Aslo thank you Dan for all your encouragement. Thank youu also to all who have been keeping us updated on this site, Jon, Nancy, Ray, Pork Pie and all the others. They all worked very hard, and some sacrificed their sleep and health to get it done.

We won't rest until we get live streaming video . . . (easy to say, eh?)

This lady was at world of speed this year, and possibly before.  I just had to ask wtf she was doing . . .

"Live streaming video to father in law" I think.  Believe she is related to the Salt Cat. . . .

Git er done~!

This Lady is "Tiffany" (Burton's Wife) from Victory Motorsports the 7770 Orange Datsun 240Z. She was indeed broadcasting live on U-Stream back home to WI so Dad could watch the record breaking runs!
