Pat Womack is back in impound -- 233.7 in the first mile.  Great for him.  And his bike looks like he found some wet salt, but what the heck -- he's in impound.

Qualifying runs end in about 55 minutes, then we'll have the record returns, then it's a wrap.

Papi runs a 191 -- and Nancy's record is still hers - for at least the rest of this year.  Papi, by the way, is Steve Chappell on bike 2230.  Her record is 201.913 -- both she and Steve ride somewhat-built ZX14 Kawasaki bikes.  Good fun, chasing each other's speeds all year.  Next year for sure!

Ask Papi if Nancy can ride the bike...

What is that on the air right now..?

audio is gone.
The speed that you wish to achieve is only limited by the depth of your wallet.

We're heading to town for a little while - to pack up our motel room.  Kurt's about done with audio -- especially since the last few return runs are being made and the annoiuncer shut down an hour ago.

I'll get you the records when we're back here.

Qualifiers are almost over.  4 cars left.

Car 6142 just ran, I don't know if they qualified, but they blew a panel outta wonna the chutes and the course is on hold while 5 rover chases silk hankies all over creation.  He just found it.  Course is open again, the Ferrari Enzo is about to run again.

Here's a shot of the car.
