I realize you've probably thought about it
but I'm wondering why you don't cut the rear end free after the blasting but before the paint and then set it up so it's a bolt on?
With a little ingenuity you could probably work it so you wouldn't have to hardly bleed the brakes or maybe even not at all.Pete
