So how many miles did you have to travel to get there?

The odometer on our truck showed 1883 miles to get here.  I know it isn't the farthest traveled - but someone has to be the first poster.

I just got on Google to see how far it was from Melbourne to Bonneville so I asked for directions.......below is the 47th step...you may notice it suggested going via Japan but I loved this bit.....

47.   Kayak across the Pacific Ocean
Entering Japan

47.   Kayak across the Pacific Ocean

My google search showed you entering Japan via kayak on the 41st step.  Step 100 had you entering Hawaii, again via kayak, and step 114 had you entering Washington, still via kayak.  Looking at the map I would think that kayaking directly from Melbourne to Hawaii would cut a lot of miles off the trip but then there may be construction delays and detours in the Pacific we don't know about.

old post...and not the farthest...but flew from Norway to Texas, wrenched on car 18 to 20hrs a day for 5 days, car leaves on trailer, I fly to Pheniox pick up Buell, drive to Wendover race for 1 week, get red hat on last day..last run of meet....then ride from Wendover to Houston in 2 days, made it to airport with exactly 1 hour before my international flight.....best 2 weeks of my life...not accounting for my kids and wife who let me do it...;)
