2M Ham Radio?
« on: August 12, 2010, 10:10:44 PM »
Just wondering if there are any other Hams out there and if there are any specific 2M frequencies to monitor while attending Speed Week.

Yes.  I'm WA8GDW, and a month or so ago there was a thread on here.  I'll go look for it -- and so can you.  Put "CQ" into the search bar on the Forum and that oughta take you to it.  I forget the local repeater freq. -- but I suppose 52 would be a safe place to start.  I haven't programmed anything into the little rig in our truck -- but will once I find out where the local machine is.  Thanks for reminding me.

Thanks! I guess I should have tried to search first. Doh!

Here is a link to the thread mentioned:

http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,7911.0.html

From the link above the repeater frequency is 147.200, PL 100 and as mentioned we can also try 146.520 simplex.

Here is a link to a page listing the Wendover repeater:

Thanks,

Mike
