anxiously waiting for my flight on Friday afternoon from Omaha, to DFW, to SLC.   I kinda wish I had the time to drive this year - but I don't!  and I'm solo this year - wife has to work.

I should be on the salt sometime Saturday morning.  #787 and #1950 should be in line by then.

Can't wait to see those of you attending the salt talks this year!

Well, we made it to Evanston Wyoming. The only trouble we had was a trailer tire on my trailer went bad and was bumping real bad, so we removed it and put the spare on it and came on in. I went across the street and got a new tire mounted and they put the spare back under the trailer tongue. The highest cost for diesel has been $3.03 per gallon. Keep the hammer down and watch the nuts on the highway. Will check in tomarrow, hopefully with photos of the fossels that we find.

I got word today that my wagon finally has the rebuilt engine installed so I will get to break in the engine on the way out to the salt flats. I will be picking it up early in the morning and will likely be on the salt in time to get some dinner tomorrow.

Looking forward to a week of fun on the salt.

Just got word yesterday that the turbos are being shipped back to me, should have by the weekend. Limitengineering said the thrust bearing failed in the left turbo, they replaced the thrust beaing in the right turbo also. The car should be back in running condition soon if anyone would be interested in purchasing it.
