2010 Speedweek trip
« on: August 10, 2010, 06:50:35 PM »
Mike C, and myself left Springfield, Missouri this AM with our wives. We made it to Kearney Nebraska this afternoon, will go on to Evanston Wyoming tomarrow and will go to the fossel quarry on Thursday. We passed a motorhome with a license plate reading HEMI-1, pulling an enclosed trailer, couldn't read the state because I was going about 80 at the time. Will check in tomarrow evening. See you all on the Great White Dyno...

Gary,

Have a safe trip and keep us updated on your quest for an increase in your current record.  And, three days for the 1400 mile trip to Wendover?  Remember when (30 years ago, or so) we could have done the trip nonstop and then spent the whole day at the track, and not be affected?
