I would have thought LittleLiner's translation would have been more accurate.  After all he is in PA.   PA is short for Paris isn't it?
Actually, PA is short for "Pay Again" as loosely translated from our state and local tax codes.

The PA state motto is "welcome to Pennsylvania.  Construction next 200 miles"

We don't speak French in York.  Most of my neighbors have enough trouble just with English.

The Arfon brothers are alive and well in the frozen north!  Small looking Allison though.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

I just read this whole topic for the first time and think it is extraordinarily amusing. Thanks to DW for starting it and littleliner for some well conceived rules. I do have a serious observation though. In the youtube video the spectaters were only about 2 foot off the track and I was wondering if DW would propose something similar to that at an upcoming SCTA meeting. Did you note the concept of speed you gain from being that close to the track. That was just to cool. Could you imagine the Speed Demon going by at about 420? I think Speed Week would be more popular then the Running of The Bulls!!

Kudos to Littleliner for his rules translation.

Whoever sent the original post to DW230 is obviously a jerk so he deserves what he gets.  Stupid and an being an AH is a really bad combination.  Even if the guy on the sled is French speaking I’d bet he would be embarrassed to know someone of that caliber is forwarding his video.

From our point of view snowmobiles are definitely weird and they’ll never be class (engine size) competitive but you’ve got to admit…  That thing is pretty freaking impressive!

Hello,
Who was the original email sent by?
I question this, because I know the people who raced this snowmobile at Bonneville last year.
They set an F.I.M. world record at the 2009 Landspeed Shootout,
and my thoughts are that this was sent by someone NOT on their team.
Of course I could be mistaken, but would like to know.

That machine started at different spots; ranging from the 4 - 4 1/2.
Not alot of equipment of that displacement can gain those speeds in such a short distance.

kilo - 203.666
mile - 202.907
exit - 210.477

John Noonan went by me in the Ack Attack at about 200 mph at the 2005 BUB meet.
I was working the 5 mile that year so I was the end of the track and my pop up was only about 30 feet from the side of the course. John was going that fast at the end of the course because of a double parachute failure! I can tell you from first hand knowledge it is very exciting and very scarry!
