Why can't WE play here???

D-Type, the BAR team started by publicising that they would have a car running in a known SCTA/BNI class.  The use of Bonneville on private time always raises questions from US racers too - its possibly a money thing?  As to the specification of the vehicle, on 01/01/06 it is not a legal F1 car and Honda have signed up to running 2.4 litres rather than a controlled 3.0 litre series of motors.  Now that should have stirred up everyone .... !

As a swan song for BAR, it has gained excellent media exposure but no credibility as an LSR 'record'.  And setting a 'speed record' was the initial objective too.

Sorry, I made an error...The Muroc orange tag is a non-record tag.
I don't understand..."It won't work!"

Tom, old age might have driven you to the wrong forum.
The BARF-1 bunch print their own tags,  LOL
