I'm an "associate" member of SCTA.  Will I be getting a ballot?  Should I be paying close attention to this stuff...or will it be presented to me as a fait accompli?

That is a good question, I wounder if you do get a ballot... They were sent out already and people should be getting them this week as I understand it.

Jon - Would it be possible for you to post the ballot so we can see who is running for what? I would also appreciate a response to the Lattin advertisment from those in the know so we can vote correctly - Thanks -

Non SCTA club members are not represented in the vote.
For Bonneville you have less input all the time. If you have a question or concern, this is the only form to share it on. While you get some answers that are from some good people, you also suffer from some of the bad.
The best way to be heard is to sound out here and urge the voting members to see it your way.
Public knowledge will make them do better and you too.

Well, you know, people just don't talk like that.  Leading from one subject into another in such a set, chronological, orderly pattern.  It was very informative (if only in a limited way).  It was more press release than interview, and done very well.

A Press Release is just the first shot. Unless you are just a target, this is a chance to shoot back.
The more you do up front, the more you will be up front I would hope.

Although I am in full agreement about who should be able to vote, I sure would like the voting members who use this site to encourage their fellow club members to also visit and read the posts on here.  You would be amazed how many "old timers" I have run across who are oblivious to this site, and I fear, will continue to live with their heads in the sand.  Besides, I don't know how many more Dolan posts I can endure, before my head explodes............ :

If your head would explode , it is probably safer in the sand. LOL
Points are where you find them. If you have one to make it should be heard.

I have a newbie question: how often is the BNI president & board voted on and who votes? I have a terrible memory and while I have been a BNI member two years running, I dont remember voting on anything BNI. I remember the SCTA vote from last year, but no BNI vote.

Anyone got a better memory than me?

Lattin got his say in, how about a news release from Mike Manghelli? It would be nice to hear what Mike has to say. Regards, Tom

The vote is limited to SCTA club members, not BNI. The term is for 1 year and the vote every year. The term limit is 2 in succession. The elected board selects the appointed members up to the limit. The BNI board is selected by them each year and I don't remember if their is a term limit for BNI.
