I am researching the Original Golden Rod for our next model. Would appreciate any contacts with photos or information on the car. Especially interested in crew contacts. Thanks for any help you can give ..

I think Dave Thomssen still owns it. He resonds on here too or on the e-mail list. I believe he lives in Nebraska...Good Luck

Last I heard this was as far back as 6 months ago, was the car was bought my a museum and they were restoring it....

Jon, I don't think Marc is talking about the Summers car. I believe he means the one built and run in the early 50s. Wayno
