Anatomy of a Streamliner
« on: February 24, 2010, 09:56:34 AM »
Brother Lou put this together it has some great stills as well as some real action shots from the Cook meet last fall.

A supremely talented and self-taught designer and fabricator, Denis Manning has devoted his life to pursuing the motorcycle land-speed record and his innovative streamliners have succeeded on more .

So who do you think should be next in line for Bonneville Stories ?   Let Lou know  at   Loufischer@Thynk.com  or  Lou.fischer@comcast.net
Something tells me that Sam Wheeler may be next ?
Enjoy - and kindly leave a comment -

Great DVD, and yes that's why we do this LSR thing. It's a fever and lasts forever.

Great video, thanks for posting. I wish them the best of luck this year.

Nice video. It is not easy putting all those years into 10 minutes of video.

Since my experience of salt racing is brief, I enjoyed seeing the progression of cycles and liners as his building improved and seeing the speeds as they went up over the years. It was a good summary of the mph growth chart up to the present 372 mph. How far away is the big 400?

Good people like Denis Manning draw good people to salt racing.
