Thank you all from Bob at the 5Mi
« on: September 12, 2005, 05:59:46 PM »
Hello,
My name is Bob Collier and I had the privilege of running the finish line this year at the 2005 Bub event at Bonneville.
Though it was my first time on the salt, I was made to feel welcome by all the riders and support staff. For the opportunity to have a small part in this historic event I am truly grateful.
The memories I take from the event will last me a lifetime, (not the least of witch is John passing me at 200+ MPH in the Ack-Attack less than 50 feet away!).
I met so many people at the event, many of whom I now consider friends, I just wanted to say thank you to every body that made this such  a memorable week for me.
I heard many times how the salt ?bites you?, well consider me bitten.
God willing I will see all of you again at next years Bub Event.

Until then:
Control this is 5 the course is clear.
Thank you all
Bob Collier

We can always use good volunteers at the BNI meets as well. Even more fun.
