Just read on FB that the lake bed was nice, dry, and ready for some record runs next weekend.
See y'all out there!

Wind call is made depending on direction.

if, 25 mph straight down course, meet is held for me to run only.
I need all the help I can get.

National Weather Service is predicting 13 gusting to 21 at dawn on Saturday. Wind across the course.

Dropping to 6 around 10 am, picking back up between 4-5.

Below 10 for Sunday.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.

Were those the exact words you used when you spun the roadster after deciding to go ahead an run when asked if you wanted to even though it was a bit windy?   :-D

Tech will definitely be open early. Probably as soon as the drivers meeting is over.

The tech guys have to haul in a ton of stuff and get it all set up, then they can think about teching your vehicle.

If you can get there early and help them set up, then they might start earlier.

Not really sure what Im talking about but.........We were trying a new electronic ignition with auto advance (or something like that??) and as the rpm's grew it advanced the timing a bit to far? We will be runninng the old Magneto this weekend then back to the drawing board for June. :?
