Heard El Mirage was under water when at Bville?

Clicking on the above and last 7 days only goes to Aug 10th, shows over 2 inches.

  Anyone know anything?

I was out there Saturday for pot hole duty and it was fine. Surface looked good for the track but there was still a little moisture underneath so we may get some potato chips by this weekend. The shutoff area looks about as usual, heavy breaking will loosen it up. No rain on the rain guage yet and if there are no thunderstorms today or tonight none is forecast for the rest of the week.
Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time!

Radar on the internet shows big thunderstorm cell hanging over the east end of El Mirage right now (2:40pm, 9/10). Been hanging there quite a while. Nothing showing on Natl Weather Service "real time" weather conditions as of 2:26pm regarding rainfall. What's happening out there Tiny? Rain on the east end from what you can see from the west end??? Hope you are mending well from your tumble off the stairs.

Posted this evening (9/10) on the SCTA website:  "El Mirage - Sept 16 (Meet): We have just had word that the El Mirage lake bed has been closed due to about 1 inch of rain covering the Visitor’s Center end of the lake. The race track we believe is still dry. Please watch here for future updates. Final decision will be Thurs evening. Cross fingers!"  :-(

Check SCTA website for further info and details. http://www.scta-bni.org/

Official on SCTA site.  Sept. is cancelled.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.
