B'ville 2005 report....
« on: August 24, 2005, 12:16:42 PM »

It was great getting to meet some of you on the salt this year and seeing others once again.

Jon and Nancy thanks for all the work that went into the Salt Talks gathering  :D .

Thanks also to Jon at landracing.com for keeping this communication open for us.

I know a few of you had been following the changes to Hooley's stude for this year and were interested in how we did.  The motor ran strong, but we got bit by the course conditions.

For more I have added a page to my site ( HERE ).

I hope to meet more of you in the future and if you are in SE Utah be sure and stop.

c ya, Sum

Sumner -

Great stuff - keep up the info and images, both on Hooley's Stude and your own race car construction.   I wish more race teams could have websites like yours.   For non-racers (at least so far...) like me, it's a lot of fun to see what goes on.

After reading the first reports about Hooley's Stude after Speed Week 2004, I hoped to see and photograph it in action this year.  I was only able to make it to the Salt on Monday, so of course the car did not run.   Bummer.
