  Brian, thanxs for the heads up.  I am hopefully going to leave Monday evening if the weather on the salt holds.  Now all I gotta do is try and round up a crew.  I told everybody Thursday I wasn't going to make it, but that fifty degree weather forcast means HORSEPOWER !!!!!!!  I gotta go, go, go.

Just got off the phone with Mike Waters. There was some rain last night, they will be looking at the salt in a couple of hours and give a report at that time. Stand By fo update.

Thunder and rain in Midvale - 45 minutes south of SLC.  It's 8.45 Sunday morning.  Waiting, leaving soon for Wendover.

Storm total precipitation radar image implies they got about 0.1 inch on the flats near Wendover, and .3 - .5 inches in the mountains just to the west of the flats. Hope that the heavier rain was far enough off the basin that it does not drain out into the race area today.

NOAA Radar predictions show very slight chance of precip hitting salt today/tonight.
Nothing though for Mon-Sat as far as Moisture.  Hopefully anything that happens today even in elevation will be super light.

No calls, so that's good, I guess.  Roy Creel's post a little while ago on the home page of the SCTA site says there's been a little rain -- but the courses are dry.  So - Nancy and I will head out there (from this motel just south of SLC) and see what's what.  I'll post now and then and letcha know what we see.  Later - -

Very light scattered rain and snow mix in Ely about 36 F @ 9:30am. No snow sticking to ground. Sun trying to  break out at times   The following site has Nv. road info.    .http://safetravelusa.com/nv/   Ill be heading to Wendover tomorrow.     SB
