I just opened the December issue of Car Craft and there is a one page article on the Duttweiler built engine for the Speed Demon.

I suppose I should put in my 2 cents... I think it would have been wiser to have pedaled it through at 410 or so and save the motor, then make a return run "pedal to the metal", then perhaps you can celebrate an official FIA world record.  Single engine cars tend to put alot more stress on the mill than multiple engine cars.  Regardless, great accomplishment to have attained this kind of speed with such a small cu.in. engine.
