Here  are some photos I took about 1 1/2 hours ago.

The course USFRA found seems to be pretty good. There is some water at the 2 3/4 thru the 3 1/2 mile and the rest seems to be fine. A full 7 mile course, after the 7 look out....

The Speedweek course has water thru the middle of it about 1/2 mile past the dyke. International course also.

Here are the pictures enjoy them.

It's only during Speedweek that the rooms are more expensive than gold.  The rest of the year the prices stay normal I'm sure the $139 is for 3 nights and Friday night would be the most expensive.

I'll add a coupla pics just to see if the cell modem (air card) is working.

There's a gent from the UK with the 1727 D/FMR car and team (my memory fails me on names, but that's nuttin new.)

And a lovely young lady named Beth (I think) is cleaning up her Mini in preparation for the 130 course.  We got along real well.  Her license plate sez "Rat Brat."  I kinda like that.

With reference to Brian Boatman (LVMAXX stayed there at SpeedWeek) --

Nancy and I have found Brian at the Salt Flats Cafe a couple of times in the past week, and he reminds us that he'd be happy to have some racers stay with him at other events.  He hasn't mentioned if he will change/lower his prices now that the casinos and other motels aren't charging the exhorbitant rates -- but LV does say the stay there was fine, and since Brian doesn't run a commercial joint -- the atmosphere might be more relaxing.

LV -- I don't have Brian's contact information right handy.  If you've got his phone number or email -- wouldja please put it here on the Forum so folks can contact him if they so desire?  Thanks.
