I am personally thankful for the information we get and I believe it to be a great addition to LSR. The folks giving  this info are running vehicles and are crew members for outher. I'm glad they can take a little time for us.

But if you are so interested and it means that much to you perhaps you should have been there to see someones time. I can wait for the daily postings of USFRA for each course but it is apparant you can't. Hope to see your Camaro at WF...Good Luck

Some shots from the 130 course.  I haven't been asleep, just shooting and editing a lotta photos.

Dan's Monte Carlo LS with SS nose.

There's a peace sign behind the peace sign.

A Viper churning up some salt.

One of the Twini Minis (there are two identical #53s...I dunno how they're keeping track of 'em) down the 130 course.

Glen, I'm kinda at a loss.  I can't get the speeds and do the photos at the same time.  I wish I had more hands, but then I'd just get in twice as much trouble.  :)

I am sure Jon, Nancy, and Todd, are still working on the bike trying to find that extra 1 plus mph that Nancy needs in the morning to get into the 200MPH Club. Be patient, it is hard to run and report at the same time. Just put you feet into their shoes right now and you will understand.

More from the 130 course:

On a barstool in full tuck.

Don's 55 Ford leaving the line.

Over the shoulder of a totally insane kart driver.

Last, the Redcatcher Camaro.

The 444 car ran about twenty minutes ago, Glen (and all).  Sounded strong for the first mile, started shooting ducks at the one and shiut it off about the 1 1/2 and pulled the chute.  No speeds -- didn't get that far.

Since they're still running -- I'm going to get a list of today's qualifiers from Dan Warner later this evening and will post them then (like the list from yesterday).   Nancy and I are going for early supper then bed -- to get to impound (I love saying that!) by 7.15 or so.  The specified time for return runs is 8AM -- but this morning the time was about 8.15.

Buckeye Bullet is about to leave the start line, running on a 314 record.  I'll click and report ina minnit.

The B Bullet runs on hydrogen fuel cell making 600 kw/800 hp.  211 in the quarter, 227 in the first mile, 253.356 miuddle mile, 273.958, 282+ exit.

The access road is bumpy as the dickens for the last few hundred yards before Land's End -- so that's my excuse for lousy typing.  Much of the water has gone away -- but the traffic driving through the watery salt has torn the living crap out of the road.  The security folks are moving the traffic cones around every few hours to try to save the road -- but it's just so fragile right now.  I wonder if there'll be any grading done before we subject it to heavy traffic again.. .

Yes.  They ran about 30 minutes ago.  They turned out at the 1.5

The go karts run at speeds around 100 -- I don't know, but since they race regularly at those speeds, I assume that tires are speed rated.  The bar stools run at speeds around 50, at best -- so assume they don't have many speed-rating problems.

Good question, Willie.

RAY:  We'l call you in a few minutes to express our thanks and say our good-byes.  Everyone else - Bigger than ever thanks go to Ray for his work this week.  He especially deserves thanks for giving up on his plan to go back to SLC today for some other work.  Feel free to express your thanks to him with donations via Paypal -- I'll make sure he gets a few out of the website's own pocket as well as what you send him.  He's made all the difference for us today, what with working on Nancy's bike -- and Todd going to Maxton so he wasn't here to assist us.

Thanks, Ray!!

You're Welcome Glen.  I'll be back here for the Shootout.  I hope to have some of my laptop/cell modem issues corrected...but right now, this thing is about ready to roll over and die...and so am I.

I've gotta drive home so I can shoot the Grand-Am (as Doc Freud said, I don't have a Rolex so I'll just leave that out of it) and then back that night or Sunday.

After that I look forward to see ya at WF.

Here's a lousy shot of the Buckeye Bullet on its 282 run.  I'll post more when I get home and can edit 'em on a real computer.
