Are record runs on hold for track conditions???

Ya mean returns, Glen?  If so, the answer is "no."  Returns were run at about am.

So what do you mean here?  Are the return runs completed?

Just got off the phone with Allison, she said Blowfish ran 300+ got the car sideways and George was cool as a cucumber. She said no word from SSS because she thought Nancy made a run this morning.

Hmmm...I haven't seen SSS or Nancy all day.  But I haven't seen all the runs, either.

Here's an unidentified bike around the three mile mark.

Course is on hold for a timing light issue.

While the course is on hold, here are some staging lane shots.

Mayf and his son pushing the newly Dagmar'ed Sunbeam forward in the lane.

Ed Van Scoy and his Corvette.

Stan Jennings' Charger.

Finally, the Yellow Submarine, an F Gas Streamliner.

Picture is Fred Vance qualifying on the APS-G 1350 record (210.132) with a 213+ run. Life begins at 65 and Fred is making this LSR stuff look way too easy. WTG Fred

Howdy, folks.  Sorry it's been all morning since I [osted -- but Nancy qualified at 204.051!!!!  We're in impound now.  That's Nancy's first 200+ run, so she gets her "A" license -- and need "only" a 206 orso tomorrow for a hat.  Wonder what she'll run?

Will post more in a click or two.

Okay -- the
Salt Cat Jaguar backed up the record, the turbo Buell did, too.  Peter Pepperoni's 750 Moto Guzzi is certified a record holder now, Both Amos are in impound right next to us, and So is Randy Oysti.  I'll get speeds later.  Ray has been keeping you folks updated while we were out on the course, and I thank him most exponentially.

Nancy's in impound at 204+  YEE-HAH!!

Thanks, Larry.  I wish I could keep track of who's running, shoot the nphotos, edit 'em and post 'em all at the same time...but I'm a bit limited in how many things I can do at once.  :)

Btw, Nancy Wennerberg is in impound.  I don't know any more than that, cuz Jon had to cut the call short.  Damn!  I make one trip to the "Honey Bucket" and miss one of the runs I most wanted to get.

Btw, any one remember the Discovery Channel CF that alleged that the Buckeye Bullet had been "ostracized" because of their hydrogen bottles that were "a hydrogen bomb  just waiting to explode?"  Sheesh.  Well, they're here and in their normal place, the corner of the pits as you can see in the photo.  When I visited 'em, they were buttoning up, preparing to make a run.

Oh..the Mormon Missile had a bit of trouble with the motor yesterday.  One of the heads is junk and Mike (engine builder) said that there may be further damage.  They were thrashing to get it fixed.
