I moved my chute anchor point up to the recomended camshaft high, and my Stude at 5200# never slowed smoother...it used to be about ten inches lower, and always gave me a hell of a jolt..........and nosedive..............Bob

Just a reminder that recomended camshaft height is for a pushrod cam in block V8-V6 type.
Glad to hear Bob Johnson is ok but a big loss on a beautiful car that had a great speed and had more potential

Hmmm....the bike you posted sure looks more like the 2-wheeled version of pro-street, alright.  I'm just going on what I remember a guy telling me several years ago.  As you can probably tell, I'm in a steep learning curve about bikes.

Some morning shots:

Fording Lake Bonneville.

Gary Holzman (?) with a 5x7" view camera.  It's not an antique, but a brand new, state-of-the-art (for that type camera) unit.

The #766 Tempest and the #1131 Suzuki as the sun rises.

More as the day progresses.

It is called a pro street in the chopper community. Usually long and low choppers are called pro-streets, however that does not represent a pros street chopper in my opinion as the front end is to high.

Salt seems pretty good this morning.  I'm at the 3 mile mark, shooting toward the mountains.

I don't have any info on the Salt Cat at all, nor the 774 Roadster.  If I get any info I'll post it.  Bud McManus just trailed a plume of smoke and spun.  All's well, as the EVs returned and the crew towed the car back to the pits.

Ya mean returns, Glen?  If so, the answer is "no."  Returns were run at about am.
