I'm curious to know why they chose to fab the water line fittings for the head the way that they did. To me it looks like they could have been made entirely from billet with interconnected drill bores and tapped to accept the fittings, making a more robust and vibration resistant part with less chance of failure. To my eye those fittings look to be a little on the weak side compared to the rest of the build.
Just re-read that and it sounds critical of me, rest assured I in no way believe myself to be qualified to critique anything on this build. I'm just trying to understand the decision behind it to better inform me for my own education. I stand in total awe of everything that I see every time I check in on this, which is every time you post an update. Just looking at this forces me to try to better my own fab skills, and disappoints me with what I turn out at the same time.
