NHRA Museum in Pomona
« on: July 20, 2009, 08:00:45 PM »
I was just at the NHRA Museum in Pomona and all I can say is wow!  Wish I had more time!  The Two Club display was very emotional for me.  So much history...  I had to call my mom.

I will now proceed to the nearest checkpoint and turn in my "man card" :)

That would be a dirty shame. I visited a few years ago and it was a remarkable time capsule for racing. Wally would turn over in his grave if the folks at NHRA did away with the (HIS) museum. He was there the day I visited, and from what I gather, that was a frequent occurrence.

Wally probably is turning over in his grave with the way the "corporate" NHRA is being run.
The payouts suck, the t.v. coverage sucks, and their are no racers involved in the hierarchy.

NHRA forgot where it came from ... it was about sportsman racers ... sure not about that anymore ... Joe
