My casual talk about joining the 200-MPH Club got a lot more serious this month when it got published in HOT ROD Magazine. My car started out as a quick fixer up and got blown completely out of proportion. As of right now it only has appearance modifications, but it is time to give the car some muscle to go with the look.
My Cardomain.com page chronicles the entire three years process of customizing and painting the car:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/693174My plan is to skin the cars body onto the 03/04 Cobra Mustang Chassis. Ideally I want to use the 03/04 cast iron DOHC 4.6L S/C but I am open to the 99/01 Cobra aluminum DOHC 4.6L N/. I have heard the the gearing in the Cobra's Tremec T-56 is not as tall as the Viper's T-56, but that they are interchangeable. I just purchased the independent rear suspension from the Cobra too. This is the first time I have put these thoughts into words and I am just using this as a starting point. I am looking for any input, thoughts, or ideas...
