Is the Volvo P-18 the two seater? If so with a BBC it would fall into Modified Sports.

Checkout the Photo Gallery section of this site. (Upper Right side of the home page)
Go to Speedweek 2003, August 15, page 2 and this photo is the right most photo on row 3.  Or you can try this URL.

Really can't clearly make out the class designation but if you go into the results for that event you will note that the car ran as a G/GMS.  The entry is listed as the Campbell Kids and they ran in the 120mph range on one of the runs.

 2400 G/GMS Campbell Kids
 1/4 mile time 121.379mph
 mile time 124.377mph.

That's about 40mph slower than the current record.  Sorta indicates that this might not be the best choice of body for any mod sports class.

But then again, who knows . . .

A magazine group tried it for a couple of years reciently with a Honda-S2000 and failed.
I would suggest that their vehicle was state of the art for HP and AERO.
The same engine type in a roadster got #1 in SCTA this year.

And Dan into the 200 MPH club after 41 years. I love S2000s.

A well deserved entry I might add.
