Four Wheel Drive

Just reading over the rule changes and wanted to make sure that my interpretation was the same as what the rules intend.
 
 

Refers to four wheel drive roadsters.
 
 2.P FOUR WHEEL DRIVE:
 
 These vehicles may compete until 01/01/2007. Prior to 01/01/2007 if one of these vehicles changes ownership it must be converted to two-wheel drive in order to continue in S.C.T.A. competition.

When it says that it refers to four wheel drive roadsters this does not include late model production cars.  Is this correct?

Yep, refering to Vintage category Roadsters only. At one time they were legal, but will no longer be after 2006 season.

 I got worried when I first read that because I didn't see where it said it refered to roadsters.  Then I wanted to make sure I wasn't mistaken.  Thanks again.

Do they differentiate between "4wd" and "all wheel drive"?

Would be the same it you had it in a roadster.

All Wheel Drive or Full Time Four Wheel drive move it into Modified Cat.

4 wheel drive in a roadster is an unnatural act(but we will  do it until we need glasses) and a rear engine is normal ?

"unnatural act", no Jack, its called  innovation is unlimited (I know, special construction only)
 We still need to enbrace the future and ALL the technology it offers.

Roadsters will be roadsters as loong as they look like roadsters started.
 Special construction is only subject to the laws of nature and the best result is easy to measure.
 Violate those laws and the results are equally easy to measure.
 CG, CG,and CF can be your friend.  
 Traction control will drive the enforcers nuts if they worry enough about it and it's better than weight.
 Wings are like tracers, they work both ways.
 Spin a vehicle and you better be ready to fly.
 That should upet them.

 Yep, and a blown fuel hemi is normal?

A blown fuel hemi is the top of normal and fits everywhere if you are in a hurry.

 There've been some low slung hair driers on gas that make those big hemi's earn there keep. Some in 4 wheel drive roadsters & firebirds

Enough about the 4 jeeps. in 2 years they will be just a bad memory of a long time ago mistake.
