I have split a few cord over the years. I do not have a pleasant recollection of the experience. The theory is that it warms you twice. Once while you are splitting and again when burning. I don't use a maul, prefer sledge and a wedge. Either way, I prefer central heating now that I have finally gotten to 180 lbs I am now too light for heavy work.

Dear 836 if it is not broken how come it has the longest set of rules and how come so much talk on here? How come the cars being built look nothing like what came down the assembly line? Most everybody stretches the rules just a little and 60 years later we have the "Flash Gordon" look. Having friends that live outside of Southern California I know how hard it is to build a competitive roadster or any car for that matter. I was just thinking that to have a rep for each class would make life easier for everyone. Ok, if not by class how about by year? And yes; if I ever get off my a-- and build a car you can be sure it will be a roadster!!!
