The chute hadn't even been packed after Marcia's record run that put her in the 2 Club when this was taken.

“Big Red” prior to its being turned into “Silver Bird” (303mph) prior to it turning into “Lightning Bolt” (318mph).  A special thanks to Rick Vesco for the info…

FYI: Got all the pictures (851) harvested, sorted and burned to a CD from this forum - in the mail to Bob this week for posting.

Keep 'em coming - I will try to keep up!  :-o

Not really possible to sort by years - mostly unknown (only SW1966). I subdivided by MC and Thrust. I schmoozed some of the pix a bit and we can restore them to their former dilapidated state if you prefer. Comments will take some time but I will peck away at it. It's great stuff to read anyway! I know the bashful ones among you will let us know if you are not happy with my selections!

537 additional pix from me! SW1970, SW1975 & SW2007. (Still some more to scan - somewhere!?)

1388 total pixs coming soon to a web page near you!

I think my eyes are crossing now!  :-D
All models are wrong, but some are useful! G.E. Box (1967) www.designdreams.biz

I certainly appreciate your efforts.

I fully understand your plight.

Now someone is going to ask, "U got any more pictures?"

I wonder what Woody's going to say when he gets the three CDroms of photos tht I got from Jon A. when I bought the site.  "Woody, please go through all seventy-three zillion photos and put those that aren't in the Gallery already -- on it."

Then, once he's recovered from that -- then I'll send him my files from the 'puter at the house -- about 4,000 more.

Let's all thank him and Bob and get ready to enjoy more photos in one place than we've had before.

Boy, that is REALLY alot to look through.....All my photos from my first (and, naturally, life changing) trip in `84 are all still wedged in the photo album, with some hand written commentary.....I hesitate to try and post some here, though, as I still think that `84 is too new.....anything from `70 and earlier, well that stuff really does it for me....

These were taken in 1964. Driver was Mark Dees and the Racer Brown Express. My foggy memory runs out of detail but I think it was Chevy powered - a little help here would be nice - Pat Kinne

I believe it was Hemi powered and they broke the engine on the return run. There was a nice write up in Hot Rod on the build back in the day. I believe this car is now owned by the ex Mr. Bullock.  Tony

You needed shoes with steel soles to enjoy this jewel.

I've posted it before but I don't think it was this image.

KP, all pictures from the last century are acceptable for this thread.  Many of the folks here are new, so a 10 year old pic is before their time....  :-D
I love the pictures coming out of the shoe boxes, if you have some pics from 84, please share them with us.  I have posted some well into the nineties.
Remember all the pics here will eventually be added to the archives for our heirs...
