Tom, when you are scanning, be sure to get them small enough to post.  Each picture needs to be less than 500K and the total of pictures in each post less than 500K.

Good luck and let's see the collection

I'll go Stainless one farther, Tom.  If you've got a batch of photos (or even one and it's giving you fits) you're always welcome to send it to me or to Stainless or someone that will offer to help.  We'll figure out how to post it and get it in view for all to enjoy.  We've got "alternative" methods available.  Hi to Margaret.

so, i have to wonder if this is an early shot of the car in development.

not just the shape, sans stab, but the number (990d) is awfully close, too.

and where would this have been taken even if it isn't bob?

I think #990 is the car that was named "the original goldenrod" an old timer that was resurrected and ran again in the 90's

!965, Wilhelm Herz used his streamliner with 350 and 500 cc NSU motorcycle engines to set some records. He also had his Delphin 4 at the salt, a new, similar than the Delphin 3 dust bin motorcycle which he used in 56 for to be the first over 200 mph on a bike, but aerodyndamic improved version. He run the car between the runs of the big battle of Art Arfons and Craig Breedlove for the outright record - but the course was to bad to ride the bike. He used the car later in Germany on the Autobahn and at Hockenheim for some more records - especially acceleration and longer distance records.

How about this one...

Car (probably) or Bike 333, I'd guess 1965 to 1970.  I assume RR Down and RR Return means it was a record run on both Tuesday and Wednesday.  What/who's was it  :?

I believe a 3 digit number like that would have been a streamliner

must be a streamliner, that's a big jump in speed from the 3-4.
