C/FR motor:
« on: October 31, 2008, 10:55:57 AM »
Looked at the pics on the El Mirage Oct meet and would like to know more about the engine that Alan Fogliadini used. Looks like it is out of an A fuel car but it says C/FR on the record so it can't be over 372 cu. in. Any one have some details on this piece? Pretty impressive!

Hope they are going to be there in Nov as I am planning to make the trip down.

That would be a 371 cu in version of one of Jerry Darien's A-Fuelers- most all run 421's now at the weight/cu in mandated.
Same Jerry Darien, I noticed in the rule book, has nearly 20 Bonneville/El Mirage records as a driver most if not all for the BMR team.
5 mph in pit area (clothed)
