I remember a meet in the late 80s when it snowed the night before and Cagle stepped out side to whiz in his bare feet, that didn't work well. We also had to put the old Epson computer in front of a heater to warm it up so it would work. We were running about 9:00 am. as I recall there were a few freeze plugs and hoses blown out.  :-o

... It does not rain or snow in Southern California and if it ever did the State Legislators would have found a way to keep all of the water from running off in the to ocean and just wasted....

JD, JD, JD, if it rained there you wouldn't have dry lakes, you would have wet ones like the rest of us... and you guys would be into boat racing instead of roadsters
See ya on the salt  8-)

At least the bike guys don't take a non running engine and bolt it to the back of the bike to get in another size engine class  :-o

What are you talking about :? He holds or held records in the bike classes and ran a busa motor in the liner.
DDDDDUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH    He is a bike guy too.    :-o

great now, the bike guys will want to run snow moblies there, just what we need a new class LOL  :-P

Naw,  Just some knobbies and we're good to go.  Not sure about Noonan though.  Do they have 200+ rated knobbies?
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

I have seen on youtube a car going 190-200mph on hard pack snow track?  They said the fastest on snow/ice?  I'll try and find it.  Ok, I found it.

I'm pretty sure that if you run studded tires at El Mirage you will get reealy good traction.
