Here on the west side of the mountains, about 80 miles west of El Mirage it started raining about 10 last night. Total so far about 1.5 inches.

El Mirage is the east side of the mountains and the mountains collect the most of it. (That may be why it's desert!) Rain at El Mirage started about 8:00 am this morning and only got about 1/4 inch. Radar shows this storm is finished. Slight chance of snow the next couple of days, but shouldn't amount to much.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Weather site shows over an inch of rain (and snow) yesterday.

Now that is a great Christmas present.

As long as there is no water or snow on the lake bed in May, I'll be happy. :-D

Folks up here ask me all the time if snowmobiles are run at Bonneville.  Now, with the snow at EM -- I'll be able to say that no, they're not at Bville, but they do run sometimes at El Mirage.  That oughta quiet my locals a bit.

It's an illusion...Gore and the California groupies says there is global warming.

It does not rain or snow in Southern California and if it ever did the State Legislators would have found a way to keep all of the water from running off in the to ocean and just wasted....Since we know they have never done that it proves that it doesn't rain or snow in Southern California or we would have kept the run off...................................................................... :?
