Jon,

I cannot believe that Robert had to run at about the same speed on his aspirated GSXR-1000 to gain entry in to the 2-Club as Leslie ran on a Turbo-Charged Hayabusa.. :-o

I wish I was able to take part to the 2-Club minimums....200+ aspirated on a 4-stroke rocks!

JN, our faces were all teeth when he ran the 7 and 8, backing up with 8 and 9.  I guess the kid finally got his head down...

PS, what was the speed Jason McVicar and Joe Amo when they got in?
J

PSS. Jason get well!!

j

in 2001 Joe was a 204.x but lost his record to Jason's 206.x , both on N2O with their 1000s.

Double that get well soon to Jason from us.  I saw the crash video, very scary, luckily Jason is a very skilled rider and all of us are glad he was walking (limping a little) around later that day.

We had a great Speedweek, this is the first time in my 30 years that great salt, great weather and a perfectly run meet all happened at the same time.  We ran at will... multiple passes daily... SCTA did a great job this year.

How about Shane SanMiguel on his Production Hayabusa with a record of 205.193 on Yacoucci record of 201.7 set in 1999.  He went as fast as 206.6!

A well deserved inclusion into the 2 Club! :-D

Thanks Scott -

We had a wonderful time there last week.  The girls were there to see their dad break not only one record, but two.  The banquet was the icing on the cake. I know the members in that club are some of Shane's idols.  It was truly an honor.  It was more than we expected!!!  I don't think it has quite sunk in yet though :)  Since the girls missed their first week of school basically I thought the teachers were going to be upset - however - they actually were really excited and had the kids tell the whole class what they did!

Again, we appreciate all that you did to help make our dreams come true!  We can't wait to make history again soon :)

John,

Call Scott Guthrie and ask to be included. Scott, Jason and Larry Forestall could use more input I'm sure.

How about a 201mph Club with no minimums......
BUB Racing in conjuction with the great people at NRHS V-Twin Performance are introducing a 201mph Club...........break a AMA and/or a FIM
Record over 201mph and you can proudly wear a "201mph Cap".............................................................
