New Salt Report from today! !

It took me a few posts to figure out the truckstop thing. I thought maybe there was some more salt slang going on that I didn't know about!
Thought I might have to ask about this truckstop thing and then I remembered what Jon had done on the site!

Anything new ?  The last thing I can find is two days old,, We have been having a lot of thunder storms around here (SLC)  And I have been praying they are missing the flats, I understand the crew is out there and working their butts off,  So howzitgoin' guys ?

08/10/08:  Rained last night on the salt.  Standing water at the mile mark on all 3  courses.  There was no damage.  Expect 90 degrees and windy for the next week.   Course preparation is continuing as scheduled.       Roy Creel Report

The old man went out to the salt today, Says everything is great. Still a little water at  the end of the road but with no more rain and it should be bitchen'.

3 courses have been dragged and in EXCELLENT shape.

Just as good news is that gas prices are down $.70 a gallon. Probably save $100 fron San Diego and back.

I got Diesel for $4.17 a Gallon at 7-11 here in Vegas on Flamingo and Jones if your passing through?
That is down $.50 from Last Week !
