SoCal Snow
« on: February 26, 2008, 09:31:18 AM »
Yep, up in the mountains there is snow.

Hmmm . . . I think I might just load up the skis and check out the snow this morning.

A short session should leave me enough time to pull out the surf board for an afternoon session.  :-D :-D :-D

64 degrees this morning at 5:30. Heading to 80 today.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

In So Cal, we often have the ability to use the Snow Skis and the Water Skis in the same day.
I did a boat charter the other day for some usually frozen Nor Easters, and brought them a bucket of Snow so they would feel more at home. 8-)

I hope you guys know how lucky you are in that climate. We have ice and snow on the ground, it's cold, the wind is out of the North. I just fire up the wood stove in the shop and get busy on the projects I have taken in this winter to make $$$$$$$$$  to go racing this summer.

Be back at the shop in Wrightwood mid-April.....
