« on: January 25, 2008, 03:04:37 PM »

Yes they (M/T) currently have tires left.

Wheels are a much larger topic. Some make their own others use Taylor Made or ???

I use both steel and forged aluminum 18" wheels. The steels were made a few years ago using implement outers (available from Miller Tire). The aluminum ones were from Wheel Vintiques and are currently available with most any offset and pattern. The narrowest was 7".  They are a bunch of buck$$. My steels are 5.5".

I have heard from another person on the net that they are going to make some steel ones very soon. I would give them a call to get in line or find out the date. The more they hear from the faster they will do them.

Every steel wheel I have used needed straightened. None were or are perfectly straight. All the aluminum ones, cast or forged are perfect. Good Luck

Well I just bit the bullet and ordered M/T's from Tom Kundrik.Good guy to work with. I ordered the 30"ers and he said they had about 90 left. I was suprised at the stack of legal doc's and releases I had to sign but understandable. I also ordered custom made alum rims from Colorado Customs in so-cal, do to the custom back spacing I needed. Also very easy company to work with. A bit pricey but I must have called 10 differant wheel companies before I found one that would build what I needed.

Tread is 6.7" with a speed rating of 590+. max growth is 2" at max speed.
The diameter is 29.7 which is 3/10" more than what we ran last year.
