aftermarket motorcycle CDI box availability
« on: January 16, 2008, 12:28:54 PM »
Looking to put together an older (2001) ZX6 Kawasaki Ninja for El Mirage and Bonneville. It's still carburetted but uses a CDI ECU box. I've been looking for an aftermarket box but none seem to be available. Does anybody know a source or should I go with the stock European CDI and a 4 degree advance plate? We're looking to run in the stock class.

Thanks!

Dave

Try searching the great Britain and French ebay listings you should have luck there... try Marc Salzburg at Factory Tuning in San Rafael Ca, he may still make the ignition advancer

You might also try Schnitz Racing and Orient Express. They are motorcycle drag racing supply companies and may have something or be able to steer you in the right direction.

Thanks guys, I'll do some checking.

Kent, do you have "stock" replacement fairing pieces for this bike? I'm missing a couple.

Thanks
