Go to photobucket.com create an account(free) and upload pictures there.  Then once they are loaded all you do is have to sites open at one time and then mark the square box that you chose and then right click on the bottom attachment to copy and then go to the land racing forum that you want to put the picture in and paste, that should do it.

Cajun
Resize the photos so the Jpegs are less than 125K if you want to post 4 or 500K to post 1, Click on the additional options at the bottom left, browse for the pictures on your computer.  Your total of pictures and total size is listed also.  No need to use photobucket if you can resize.  Profile picture same thing.  you need to make it less than 500K.

There's a free program here: http://www.xemico.com/photogadget/, called PhotoGadget, that simplifies picture resizing.

After it's installed in your PC, when you right click on a picture or its thumbnail, it is a selection on the pop-up menu.  Choose "Photogadget Pro" and click on the appropriate selection (640 x 480 is a good size for display in a forum like this one).

Only for you if you have a slow connection, a very large file will take a long time to mail. People send me pics @ around 3 meg, no big deal. If you have a cammera with huge mega pixels you might want to make them smaller.

YOur call on that one.

Mr. Cajun Kid, Sir!  What Dr. Goggles implies is that by posting your actual email you're laying yourself open to ne'er-do-wells to use it for nefarious purposes.  Or, in other words, for scammers and spammers to latch onto it and send you more than your regular share of ads to increase your -- stock holdings, among other things.

You might consider learning another of the features of this forum -- the "private message" thingie.  Move your cursor around on the post and you'll see that function -- and it sends a message via the landracing.com site, filtering out your email addy, and alos not telling you the address of the person to whom you're sending.  This allows a modicum of privacy.  In that PM you can say whatever you want -- including "Hey, use my real email address for any response.  That addy is "......blah blah...""

Have a good day.

Seldom Seen Snowman Sir!

That is correct......for anyone who has missed it , when you are logged in and click on another members name , you are taken to their "profile" there you can select options such as " send this member a personal message"...handy.

Photobucket is one of the easiest ways of loading shots up and it also has a bulk upload function...it resizes and allows you to post videos as well. However it is limited in size and will only allow one account per email address.

On the subject of spam .When you are creating an email address consider a longer rather than shorter "name".......every character you use decreases the chance of an "address generator" sending you spam....somewhere there is a guy with the address jsmith@something.com who does nothing but delete Viagra messages and helpful information about using water as a fuel...his cousin z-archibald-smythe@something.com would lead a more trouble free existence ,my personal address on hotmail has never received any spam in 12 years because it is 17 characters and a somewhat unconventional term.....doesn't mean I don't have some annoying "friends" though....
