Why are all the racers so suddenly interested in Puerto Rico Independence?

The 20th Annual Performance Racing Industry (P.R.I.) Trade Show

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

I thought that it had something to do with Prohibition Repeal...

It is the anniversary today.

I went last year.  I helped a friend who is a vendor.  He hand makes valve covers, oil pans, and dry  sump system.  Each one is a real piece of work.

I really enjoyed the show and I got to see lots of stuff and meet a lot of neat people.  An old man sat down beside me one day to rest and we visited a long time.  After a while I asked him what was his passion?  He said my name is Kinsler(sp), and I make fuel injection systems for racing engines.  I said I have heard of you and your products.  Just a lot of neat people all over that place.

My friend said that the vendor numbers were up and the attendance was up.  That is good to hear as some of the attendance numbers at Street Rod/Hot Rod events have been less this year.

I love the PRI show. It's the only show I actually look forward to, even though I have to fly clear cross the country to get there. The people are great and the products are all race, no fluff.

Worked our booth for all 3 days. Both Roy Creel and George Callaway stopped by but I was so freaking busy I didn't have more than a minute to say hi.

Show attendance seemed to be up from last year but it's hard to tell.
