Hi...am looking for any info on a Arnolt Bristol that was supposed to have raced at Bonneville back in the late 50's...car was run with a SBC engine with a crank driven blower. would anyone know of this car or are there records anywhere that would list that owner and drivers name?...Thanks...you can email me at BLD4139@aol.com

Can't help you with the Bristol, but the Arnolt name pulled out a few memories. S. H. "Wacky" Arnolt was a Chicago industrialist that collaborated with Bertone to make four different cars, including the Bristol.

His first effort was the Arnolt MG Bertone. Not too many were made. The Bertone body was mated to an MG TD chassis and engine. The MG engine was way under powered.

I bought one in 1969. There were a few modifications, like the 289 Ford with a Chrysler rear end. :-D :-D :-D Fun toy.
