Looking at the Marcel mystery 'liner it appears thay don't want it to bend in the middle!

Or bend the driver!
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

The shape reminds me of a lady that I knew extremely well. I couldn't get her out of the shoe department and I never tried her in a tunnel.

Looking for the owners of this new streamliner?  Try B. Moore, T. Hanna, and B. Crietz

Great belt drive and mags, who makes or made the manifold, wish i had one.Is the air intake going to be on the side down by the blower? Gas or fuel? What the heck are those 3 circles above the ports for?
   Really nice craftmanship.

Dynoroom,

many of us are very interested in this magnificent machine and who it belongs to.  Could those holes on the manifold be for putting and pulling the engine?

John,

It looks like a blower manifold to me with a fabricated scoop type arangment bolted on. Notice the plugs for down nozzels above the port openings. Indy makes one that looks a lot like that one. I am sure these manfolds are out on the market. Good luck.

Tom G.

PS. I see Indy sells an aluminum blower manifold for both 10 and 16 bolt heads that looks identical to the one in the picture. Price $995.

    Thanks Desotoman
I know its a blower manifold, but i could'nt find one with 16 bolts and blow out plate at the time. try what i have for now.Looks like they have places for 3 nozzels, and it seems the rearend is going to have some sort of suspension. They got me guessing

Much of the machined stuff is being made here in Wichita at Hanna's shop by a couple guys I worked with at a local machine shop. (lucky dogs)

Bob Moore displayed a streamliner chassis at Speedweek a few years ago but it wasn't this one . Bob Crietz was there with Moore . He was a heavy hitter in top fuel in the '60's .
