Ran at the lakes over *91 on Wednesday with the car and also will test again in the morning, other tested today at lower speeds and said it was pretty good.

It has been blowing pretty good out there.

"What were we thinkin'?..."

Kent I imagine you wake up each morning thinking some variation of that.

But think how much faster you get smarter than those guys who always go, "I knowed I wuz rite all de tihm!"

Might rain or it might get blown out with this crazy wind, they shut down hwy 58..the course could use some water on it and time to heal for November. :-D

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Actually Sumner we are not that close in the points with the car or the bike, the sidecar has set 4 records in two classes and three of the records were 187.0, 187.2, and 187.8 one other was a little faster, the car had an electrical issue at the last meet and we should put over 45+ mph on both records we plan to run on this season.
I am just thinking off how bad the dirt was the other day when we tested..their were areas that people had been doing donuts in the mud when it was wet and if the meet would have been on Tuesday it would have been cancelled as the gusts were huge and it was a total blowout with dirt and crap flying everywhere.  Ask George for a report.

Matt, yes the ones with 18k+ total points.. :-D

Take care

J

A little slicin' and dicin' is good for the soul... just bad for the fairings, hope y'all get to run, we are all interested in what happens...

Stainless,

I am not concerned about any fairing issues and I am sure it will be resolved at the rules meeting, I am more concerned with trying to run a meet that may be better next month when we have a two day window to run an not just one day.

I am sorry that 3-4 bikes had to be modified at the salt however from the pictures I see that they can be repaired very easily.

"Can't we all just get along" :-D
