Question about classes....is there a modified production minivan class?
«

As the title says, I have a modified production minivan and am interested in running at Bonneville and other locations and maybe setting some records.
What class would I be in or is there even a class that applies?
Thanks,
Brad

If you attend the World of Speed next week you can run the 130/150 MPH club event which is a part of meet. See
www.saltflats.com
To answer your question, a mini-van will have to compete in the coupe and sedan classes where records can approach 250 mph. There is no distinction between body styles. We write the rulebook with parameters to build your race car, we do not make the decision as to what car you race.
Someone has said in the past "Just because you have it doesn't mean there is a class for it"
