Doesn't matter . When you work toward the canopy the tangles untangle them selves .

 :-DParachute...who  needs a stinkin' parachute? Me.....! I do our chute and also on a funny car. I place my fingers between the lines and work toward the chute. When there is a tangle..if difficult I find if I detach tether line at car mount it is much easier to untangle. The whole thing is easier with 2 people but sometimes that's not possible and I do it alone. Key thing though was detaching it at the car. Hope I helped!!!

One of the first things that they cover in jump school is the use of a knife for cutting shroud lines. :roll:
